Ration (“the App”) is a productivity instrument that calculates your remaining free time and can show it on Home Screen widgets. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses and how it is handled.

Summary

• Ration does not require an account.
• Ration does not operate its own servers that collect your personal schedule or calendar data.
• Settings, goals, and purchase status are stored on your device (and, on iOS, in an App Group shared with the widget extension).
• Optional calendar access and optional local notifications stay on-device.
• Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.

Information the App uses

Schedule settings you enter

Wake time, sleep time, work hours, entropy/transition cost, macro goal name and target date, widget skin preferences, and similar configuration. Stored locally on your device.

Optional calendar access

If you enable calendar integration, the App reads today’s events on your device to subtract busy time from your ration. Event data is processed locally and is not uploaded to Sona Pets LLC servers.

Optional local notifications

If you enable daily reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device (for example, an evening check-in near your sleep time, and occasionally a tip about adding a widget). These are not sent through a Sona Pets push server. You can disable them in System Config or your device settings.

Purchases

If you buy Ration Pro (one-time unlock), Apple or Google processes the payment. The App stores a local cache of whether Pro is unlocked so widgets can update quickly. We do not receive your full payment card details.
